Solution
The mine arranged to operate a combination of legacy assets, new assets from various manufacturers, and legacy assets repowered with new engines. Cascadia Scientific was installed to provide data and analysis across each configuration to compare haulage efficiency and productivity.
Results
Cascadia Scientific modelled the productivity and efficiency of competing Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi, and Liebherr haul trucks to motivate a multi-million-dollar procurement decision.
