Challenge
89% of site greenhouse gas emissions were produced by diesel-powered equipment. Existing digital tools lacked the accuracy and functionality to support the development and execution of a GHG sustainability plan.
Solution
Cascadia Scientific was installed across the haulage fleet to measure and report emissions. Fuel flow meters, engine data, and engine-specific emissions models were combined to provide fleet-wide reporting of CO2, C0, N0x and particulate emissions.
Results
Robust emissions management program was put in place to pursue ambitious company ESG targets, comply with government regulations, and achieve eligibility for targeted tax relief.
